The torsional moment MT corresponds to the torque about the bolt axis.
The moment is included in the calculation of the necessary clamping force FKQ (R2), which must be present for the transmission of shear force and/or torque by frictional locking. In addition, the safety against sliding and the shear stress (R12) are also determined.
Torsional moments can only be specified if the load type contains a shear component. However, you can also specify "no torque" if a transverse load acts for the shear component instead.
