The service factor cB is only considered in the shaft calculation in accordance with DIN 743 and the FKM Guideline. The nominal stresses at all notches from the overall system are multiplied by this factor. The service factor cB can be used to approximately account for a load level that changes over the operating time. If a local service factor is specified for a notch, it is used instead.
