Specification of the time shares of the load cases in the total operating time.
The total operating time of the transmission is distributed to the individual load cases according to these time shares. The operating time of a load case is determined from the weighting factor divided by the sum of all weighting factors times the total operating time. Time shares can be specified using percentages, factors, or hours. Thus, the following entries lead to the same result:

If existing percentage or hourly values are used for the weighting factors, the total does not have to be 100% or equal to the total number of hours. If the specified total number of hours for the above table were 60000 h instead of 30000 h, the individual time shares would be converted internally to 6000 h, 12000 h and 42000 h.
