The following options are available:
- Method B
Method B is based on elasticity theory studies by Weber and Banaschek on full-disc spur gears. Using a series expansion from Schäfer, a simple approach was developed from the process for gears with reference profile in accordance with DIN 867.
- Input of stiffness values
The stiffness values can be manually specified, using a numerical value, or can be automatically calculated using method B.
