Influencing factor for permissible tooth root stress

Additional Y-factors for determining the permissible tooth root stress according to ISO 10300 (2014) can be specified via the user-specific influencing factors Y₁ to Y₅. Several factors are available for consideration of various influences (e.g., hardening depth, shot peening) in the determination of the tooth root load capacity. In the determination of the safety factor, these factors are multiplied by the permissible tooth root stress. Values greater than one thus increase the calculated safety factor. These Y-factors are set to 1.0 by default.
