The running-in factor XE is used to consider the smoothness of the flanks. The approach factor XQ considers the influence of the current driving direction: "wheel drives pinion" or "pinion drives wheel." Both factors influence the scuffing load capacity according to FVA 519. These factors can either be calculated or specified. If selected, the calculation is performed according to FVA 519 I.
