Clearence factor

The clearance factor, k_c, characterizes the clearance, the distance between the tooth tip and the tooth root of the mating gear. With a depth factor, k_d, a clearance factor, k_c, a thickness factor, k_t, and a mean addendum factor, c_ham, the proportions of the gear teeth is described according to the AGMA standards. The dimensionless factors are related to the mean normal module m_mn.
