The transverse load distribution factor KHα for contact stress accounts for the effects of pitch and profile errors, as well as the uneven load distribution over several pairs of teeth in mesh at the same time.

The following options are available:

  1. Direct specification
    Direct specification, exclusively for calculation acc. to ABS.

  2. acc. to ABS
    If not specified, the transverse load distribution factor KHα is calculated according to ABS.

  3. acc. to ISO
    If the switch "Load factor acc DIN/ISO" is activated, the value of the transverse load distribution factor KHα is determined from a calculation according to ISO 6336.
