The torsional moment MT corresponds to the torque about the bolt axis.
The moment is included in the calculation of the required clamp load FKQ (R2), which must be present for the transmission of shear force and/or torque by friction grip. In addition, the safety margin against slipping and the shear stress (R12) are also determined.
Torsional moments can only be specified if the load type contains a shear component. However, "no torque" can also be selected if a transverse load acts for the shear component instead.
