The shaft angle is part of the initial data set for calculating the pitch cone parameters in accordance with ISO 23509.
The axes of the bevel gear stage include the shaft angle Σ: 0°< Σ < 180°. For non-axially offset bevel gears, the shaft angle corresponds to the sum of the cone angles.
