Calculation range

Specification of a reference shaft for which the oil level in the gear unit is to be defined. The oil level is defined relative to the start of the shaft (u-coordinate 0) in the direction of the gravity vector.

• A negative oil level means that the oil level is below the shaft.
• A positive oil level means that the oil level is above the shaft.

The local immersion depths are calculated for all components that are located on shafts parallel to the oil level. If this is not the case, the immersion depths must be explicitly specified for these components.
