Relative length of pivot support in lateral direction

The parameters Rsegrax und lsegrax describe the shape of the back of the pad in the lateral direction. Line and elliptical shaped contacts can be modeled based on the defined values. The following figure illustrates an elliptical (lsegrax = 0) and a line contact lsegrax. At the beginning and end of the line contact, the line contact transitions continuously differentiable into the radius Rsegraxr.
