Selection of the stiffness used for the differential case. The following selection options are available:
- Analytical modeling (default).
- Imported CAD geometry with subsequent FEM meshing or, alternatively, direct FEM mesh import. For the connection to the analytical shaft-bearing-gearing system, see the step-by-step procedure further down in the tab. The FEM component is then considered in the overall system calculation via a reduced stiffness matrix.
- The differential case can also be modeled internally, with parameterization in the Editor. The 3D View shows the current status of the model. FEM meshing and additional configuration of the connection are performed via the Editor.
