Run NURBS optimizer

The NURBS optimizer can determine the parameters of the compensation surfaces for the local tooth contact analysis using a variation calculation. To do so, select the surfaces to be optimized and define the resolution for the parameter variation (left). The result criteria can also be weighted. Following the calculation, the analyzed parameter sets are evaluated in the results tables (right). The lower the rating, the better the compensation area corresponds to the geometric calculation basis. After optimization, the best parameter variant is selected.
