Circular thickness factor

The thickness factor, k_t, describes, analogous to the theoretical thickness modification coefficient, x_smn, the change in tooth thickness of pinion and wheel teeth relative to each other. The following applies: k_t = 2 x_smn. With a depth factor, k_d, a clearance factor, k_c, a thickness factor, k_t, and a mean addendum factor, c_ham, the proportions of the gear teeth is described according to the AGMA standards. The dimensionless factors are related to the mean normal module m_mn.
