Different variants are possible for the single component calculation of rolling element bearings. For each calculation variant, the corresponding values for forces, moments, displacements, or tilt occurring in the bearing must be specified. Therefore, it is important to provide five of the ten parameters.
- Values in z-direction (Faz, δz) represent the components in the axial direction.
- Values in x-direction and in y-direction (Frx, Fry, δx ,δy) represent the components in the radial direction.
- The value for wγ is the tilt angle around the x-axis, the value for wß is the tilt angle around the y-axis.
