In the matrix editor, correction matrices can either be entered directly or read in from the hard disk via the import button.

Correction amounts are entered in µm. Positively entered correction amounts correspond to a material removal on the flank. Since the correction amounts in the files of the measurement data are negative, they are inverted during import. The correction values of the correction matrices are added to the correction values of the standard correction.

Any number of width and height support points can be defined for the matrix.

The width coordinates are entered in mm in the first line of the editor and refer to the left side of the corresponding gear.

The height coordinates are entered as diameter data of the corresponding gear (from top to bottom in ascending order) in the first column of the editor in mm.

All correction amounts are multiplied by -1 using the "Invert matrix" check box.

The corrections are mirrored in width direction using the "Mirror matrix" check box.
