By means of the user-specific influencing factors Z1 to Z5, additional Z-factors can be specified to determine the permissible contact stress according to the ISO 10300 (2014). Several factors are available, so that different influences (e.g.: hardening depth, shot peening) can also be taken into account in different factors when determining the contact load capacity. These factors are multiplied by the permissible contact load when determining the safety factor. Values greater than one thus increase the calculated safety factor. These factors are set to 1.0 by default.
