Data type of tooth profile parameters

For the calculation of the gear dimensions, initial data are required to describe the tooth profile. These data can be specified either according to data type I (according to European standards) or data type II (according to AGMA). The data types I and II can be converted into each other uniquely.

• Data type II:
  • Mean addendum factor of wheel c_ham
  • Depth factor k_d
  • Clearance factor k_c
  • Thickness factor k_t or Wheel mean slot width W_m2
