If this switch is activated, the gear forces of cylindrical stages are not resolved in the width direction, but modeled as a single spring in the center of the common face width. This allows a simplified calculation of the shaft-bearing system without considering an uneven load distribution. The calculation of the local load distribution as well as the face load factor K_HBeta is then not possible.Note: In the case of intermediate and planetary gears witch are not supported against tilting, it may not be possible to use only one spring, as these are supported by the uneven load distribution.
