Case 1 - Only Feather key length is specified:
The load-bearing length calculated from this is taken as the load-bearing length of the shaft and the feather key. As load-bearing length of the hub the shorter length is taken from the calculated load-bearing length and the hub length.
Case 2 - Simultaneous specification of the feather key length and the load-bearing length:
The load-bearing length of the shaft and the feather key are calculated from the specified feather key length. The load-bearing length of the hub is the shortest length of the specified load-bearing length, the calculated load-bearing length and the hub length.
