Sum of addendum modifications

The sum of addendum modification can be entered in various ways, or is the result of:

1. Specification of the sum in the editor
   (See sub-item "determining the addendum modification")
2. Specification of the main geometry values and the center distance
   + Specification of the Allocation X₁X₂
   or
   + Specification of an addendum modification coefficient of the pinion or gear or the corresponding test measurements

The division of the sum of the addendum modifications on Gear 1 & Gear 2 only achieves meaningful results when based on other parameters:

• Number of teeth
• Module
• Pressure angle
• Helix angle
• Center distance

results in an additional overlap of the involute flank areas. Additionally, the tip circle should not be explicitly specified.
