Note: The standard calculation (KNplus) for hypoid gears requires an angle of 90°.

The axes of the bevel gear stage include the shaft angle Σ: 0°< Σ < 180°. For non-axially offset bevel gears, the shaft angle corresponds to the sum of the cone angles.
