The sliding frictional constant dependent on speed µ_bl affects the calculated sliding friction coefficient µ_sl and hence the sliding frictional moment according to the SKF method.
When "according to SKF catalog" is selected, µ_bl=0.12 is used.
An adjusted value of µ_bl=0.05 is suggested in FVA 364 IV and FVA 364 VII, which shows a much better correlation to measurement data for run-in bearings.
Manual specification by the user is also possible.
