VDI 2736 Part 1, Section 10 provides material characteristics for common plastics. The material characteristics specified there are generally provided with a tolerance range. As these are material characteristics for plastics, the environmental conditions also play a large role.
The selection of the environmental conditions in the "deformation" section enables the calculation routines to check the specified material characteristics for conformity with VDI 2736 Part 1, Section 10. The check covers all plastics listed in the standard.
