Factor for tooth flank stress

Symbol KH
Unit -
Attribute-ID stplus_result_vdi_2736_2014_tooth_flank_loading_factor_combo
Numeric ID 10652
Value Type PMString

The factor for flank loading is made up of the following three individual factors:

KH=KA·Kν·KHβ·KHα

KA Application factor
Kν Dynamic factor
KHβ Load distribution across the face width
KHα Transverse load factor

Due to the elastic properties of thermoplastics, the following simplifications can be made:

KH≈KA

Requirement:

bmn≤12

If the width of the gear is further increased, effects occur in the load distribution across the face width due to the deformation of the shaft-bearing system.

These effects can be taken into account via KHβ. For this purpose, the entry "K_H = K_A * K_Hbeta (analytical load distribution) can be selected from the list and the shaft-bearing system can be specified.
