- The bearing seat is discretized for consideration of the ovalization of the bearing seat in the FE casing.
- This discretization enables the local transfer of compressive forces and the avoidance of tensile forces in the bearing connection.
- The number of coupling points on the circumference can be specified.
- The discretization occurs during the "Snap FE coupling nodes" step.
- The stiffness must then be re-determined.
When ovalization of the bearing seat is activated, an additional axial force rejection can be activated in the bearing definition input block for fixed bearings.
