The tip chamfer is formed by machining. Its radial value hK defines this tooth tip chamfer.
Two options are available:
- The tooth tip chamfer can be produced by the machining tool which precisely determines the tip chamfer and the residual tip thickness saK.
- A separate production step generates the tip chamfer, whereby here the tangential amount is preset in the program with 0.7 * hK and the remaining tip thickness saK results from this.
