This switch can be used to deactivate the maximum limit value of 8 for the notch parameter qS = sFN / (2 * ρF) in accordance with ISO 6336 Part 3 or DIN 3990 Part 3. This makes it possible to estimate the tooth root safety approximately for large-module teeth with a small tooth root radius. It should be noted that the tooth root safety calculated in this way is purely informative.
