If this switch is activated, the proposed flank modification is determined based on uniform load distribution.
- Switch NOT activated: Proposed flank modification is determined based on the actual load distribution. Since a change in the load distribution due to the modification can lead to changes in the bearing operating points, it may be necessary to iteratively adjust the flank modification(s) until a uniform load distribution is achieved.
- Switch activated: Proposed flank modification is based on uniform load distribution. For this purpose, an additional system calculation with uniform load distribution is automatically performed, but only the proposed modifications are output.
Note: Uniform load distribution may not be possible for intermediate and planetary gears which are not supported against tilting.
