Axial clearance

For bearing points that are only defined by specifying stiffnesses, radial and axial play can be specified simultaneously. If the displacement at this point is smaller than the specified clearance, no force is transmitted in the relevant direction. The transfer of tilting moments only takes place if a force is transferred in at least one of the two force directions.

Note: The specification of clearances can lead to an extension of the calculation time and to problems with the convergence of the overall system calculation.
